This month, we’re thrilled to spotlight Jason Gardner, our Vice President of Operations at Subscribili. Jason’s commitment to optimizing operations ensures our partners and members receive top-tier support every day. Discover more about his role, insights, and the inspiration that drives him on and off the job.

Q: What is your role at Subscribili, and what do you do to support practices and their goals?

Jason: My role within Subscribili is Vice President of Operations. I work across teams to find efficiencies in our processes and to lead our teams in providing the exceptional level of support we aim to achieve for our partners and members. This role allows me to build systems that align with our clients’ needs and help them reach their goals.

Q: What’s your favorite aspect of your current role?

Jason: I love the variety each day brings. I’m involved in different areas across the organization, which means I’m always evaluating processes, learning about different parts of the business, and collaborating with diverse teams. This broad involvement lets me see the whole picture and identify ways to make meaningful improvements.

Q: What’s one thing you think sets Subscribili apart from other companies?

Jason: Having been a client of Subscribili and our competitors in past roles, I can say that our ability to listen, react, anticipate, and implement changes based on client feedback is unmatched. We are constantly fine-tuning our approach to ensure clients receive the best service, and that commitment is unique in our industry.

Q: What’s one pain point you see from customers, and how do you help them overcome it?

Jason: Providers are committed to delivering excellent patient care, but financial limitations can make that difficult. Our solutions offer a simple, cost-effective way for providers to help patients access optimal treatment. This is one of the most impactful ways we support our clients, allowing them to overcome a significant barrier to patient care.

Q: What's a recent accomplishment at Subscribili that you're particularly proud of?

Jason: Subscribili achieving our SOC2 Type 2 certification was a big milestone for us. It’s a testament to our dedication to safeguarding customer data at a time when security is more important than ever. For our clients, this certification reinforces our commitment to their privacy and protection, which is critical given the sensitive information we handle.

Q: How do you stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements?

Jason: I stay informed in two ways: reading insights from industry leaders and engaging directly with people on the front lines. Whether it’s through grabbing coffee with clients or hopping on a call, these interactions offer firsthand insights into what’s happening in the industry and help us better position ourselves to serve clients effectively.

Q: What’s a key piece of advice you’d give to someone new joining your team?

Jason: Dive in head first. Subscribili offers incredible opportunities for anyone who is curious and ambitious. Ask questions, try out solutions, and stay open to learning something new each day. It’s a dynamic company, and your effort to grow and improve will be richly rewarding here.

Q: What are your goals for the next year at Subscribili?

Jason: My focus is on leading our client and member-facing teams to enhance our service and identify innovative ways to address the challenges our clients face. I want us to be constantly improving in ways that directly benefit our clients.

Q: What’s a hobby or interest you enjoy outside of work?

Jason: I’m an avid runner and hiker. This year, I’m close to hitting 2,400 miles, and I’ll reach 15,000 lifetime miles by the end of 2024. I’ve also hiked 33 of the 58 summits over 14,000 feet in Colorado.

Q: What’s something new you’ve learned recently that you’re excited about?

Jason: I’ve recently renewed my practice of playing acoustic guitar. I’ve improved quite a bit, and it’s been really rewarding to get back into it.

Q: If you could master a new skill instantly, what would it be and why?

Jason: Flying a helicopter. I’ve taken some lessons, and it’s exhilarating, but it takes thousands of hours to master. I’d love to be an expert without all that training!

Q: What’s a book or podcast that you enjoy lately?

Jason: The most impactful book I’ve read recently is Driven by Eternity by John Bevere. It really resonated with me.

Q: What's your favorite way to unwind after a busy day at work?

Jason: Taking a walk with my wife and our dogs is my favorite way to unwind. It gives us a chance to catch up, relax, and enjoy each other’s company.
